An exciting new development

Being an entrepreneur, I’ve discovered, is truly akin to being a chef. I’m constantly throwing spaghetti at the proverbial wall to see what sticks.

Ever since launching Your Bestselling Book, clients have asked me if we can take them all the way to the finish line… Delivering a printed copy of their book into their hot little hands. Well, I listened.

This past summer, I began experimenting with publishing by creating an imprint, The Story Cure Press. I started with my own books because I wanted to understand the process from the inside out before I started offering the service to my clients. 

First, I took a poem I had written for high school and college graduates, added AI-generated images, and turned it into a sweet little book called Take the First Step.

Next, I worked with my niece Lia and my two boys to illustrate a children's book I’d written titled Home. This felt like the most joyful creative project I'd done in years! 

And soon, we will publish my husband Kiran's beautiful and deeply-researched historical fiction novel CONQUEST.

I am honored to say that we are now working with several Your Bestselling Book alumni, including Irene Emma for her novel The Accidental Traveler, and Ashley Maynard for her children’s book Paxku’ and the Temples of Palenque. 

We’ve given each one of these projects the same care that I put into my own work, which is the other reason I founded this press in the first place. I wanted the writers I coach to publish with people who understand them and the story they are telling.
